Baby It's Cold Outside.....

Back in the day, I used to be a huge Scrubs fan. My friend S, who introduced me to this wonderful show, would call me J.D. and I'd call her Turk. I remember how most of the episodes had meaningful messages, my particular favorite one coming from Dr. Cox. I'd laugh to the point that my laughter sounds hideous, and cry balling my eyes out. Although nothing can beat Friends in my book, it was one of the most hilarious yet heartwarming TV shows that seems to be a rarity these days.

Also it turns out Zack and Donald are close friends in real-life too! It seems J.D. and Turk were true to each other in and out of scene! Anywho, enjoy this video clip as I did :). And happy late holidays!

If I could be any animal I'd be an elephant

I had a conversation with my brother a couple days ago about what kind of animal we'd chose to be if allowed.
I immediately said I'd be a male elephant because of their lifespan, handsome tusks, wiseness, and their leadership. My brother rebounded by saying that the elephant herds  lived in a matriarch system, thus I quickly changed my answer to female elephant. Shows how little I know about the animal I want to be (chuckle).

I recently stumbled upon these wonderful necklaces, which also happens to be over my budget for accessories.   The elephant one was my favorite, and I've searched elephant jewelry on etsy (most amazing site may I say, helping small business owners, finding one-of-a-kind items, and remarkably cheap and sturdy compared to some retailers), but the polish for this necklace by Alex Woo is simply smooth and beautiful.

I've been in love with this piece for a while! Oh, when will I be able to buy you?!

I suppose it is no surprise by now that I might be a teensy obsessed about elephants. If the world allowed it, I would love to have a pet elephant (utterly impossible, he would need other elephant friends), or even be friends with one. But for either one, I'd have to move out of the states or live in the zoo. So I suppose I will just satisfy myself with one of the accessories, sometime soon. :) Happy Holidays and happy boxing day (to those who celebrate; I just found out about it today).

Christmas is just around the corner

Unlike the previous five years, Seattle hasn't snowed a blink, and I didn't even need to layer myself. I suppose it's convenient, but somewhere inside me, I secretly hoped we would have a white christmas.

card I purchased from Barnes and Noble

A couple of weeks ago, I found some cute holiday cards at Barnes and Nobles that were 40% off and thought it would be cute to bring back mail-sent cards. I miss those old-fashioned traditions of sending postcards when going on trips, or homemade cards during birthdays or holidays. I would've made cards, but already bought the cards so I promise I will next year.

I promised one friend I would continue the tradition of sending her a handmade card...what a lucky friend :) .  Followed some craft ideas I found through images, due to the lack of ideas and materials.

I enjoy sending letters in pseudonyms, for no particular reason. Maybe it's because I hope the receiver finds a little bit of humor in it, like I did. I had to search for where Team Rocket was from because all I could think of was pokemon world.  Anywho, I hope they receive it on time and enjoy the content :). Happy holidays to you too!

Ripe Persimmons yumm

When I visited my grandparents as a child, they always had ripe persimmons for the family to eat in the winter.

I had a sudden urge to eat some this year so asked my mom if I could purchase any here. Unfortunately, ripe persimmons are hard to find in the states compared to Korea. But luckily for me, Paldo sells them every winter whoop whoop!

They're so orange; my favorite color!

It might look a bit gooey (it taste slightly gooey) but delish nonetheless. My mom bought me so many, I don't know if I can eat all of them.. But it brought back so many old memories (sigh).
